Privacy Policy

Introduction
Oakedex (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a digital Pokémon TCG binder app. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, sign up for news or beta, or use the Oakedex mobile app.
Information we collect
- Website sign-up: If you submit your email on our landing page (e.g. for news or beta), we store that email (and optional beta interest) in our database (Firebase Firestore). We use it only to send you updates about Oakedex and beta access if you opted in.
- App account: If you create an account in the app (email/password), we store account credentials and profile data (e.g. display name) using Firebase Authentication and Firestore. Collection and binder data you create is stored in your Firestore user space.
- Local data: When you use the app without signing in, collection data is stored locally on your device (e.g. via AsyncStorage). We do not have access to that data.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the service (e.g. syncing your collections when signed in), to communicate with you about Oakedex (if you signed up on the website), and to improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party services
We use:
- Firebase (Google) – for website sign-up storage (Firestore) and for authentication and cloud storage in the app. See Firebase privacy and Google’s privacy policy.
Data retention and your choices
We keep your email and account data for as long as your account exists or as long as needed to provide the service. You can stop receiving emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us. In the app, you can delete your account or data according to in-app options.
Contact
For questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, you can reach us via the contact option on the Oakedex website or app.
